Day 31

Went to my mom's for dinner. This is our dog. Katie. She's looking a little scruffy. We accept her, though.

Day 30

This is me in a Motion Capture suit (for animation). I was helping out a friend who is in the MoCap class. The cameras pick up on the reflectors and you can create a skeleton. It was an interesting experience. I look like I belong in a sci-fi movie.

Day 29

Remembered to take a picture at the last minute. I'm cross-eyed! Woo hoo!

Cody wanted to try on my coat. This is my future roommate. We are gonna be one helluva team!

Day 27

We had an assignment in my production class involving the seven deadly sins. I got envy. We weren't allowed to tell anyone what we had. He asked us to compose a shot (10 sec. long) that demonstrates the sin in some way. We could only use one actor (or main object) and sound was not allowed. He wanted us to use our knowledge of shapes, lines, and depth of field to get our message across. After pondering a whole week about my shot, inspiration hit me when I noticed the small terrarium Graham's mom gave me last summer. I put a small goat figurine inside and had him looking out at a picture of free goats on the beach. If that doesn't say envy, I don't know what does.

Day 26

This was an animated ad at the bottom of a website. Kyler and I were so delirious from staying up so late editing that we found it hilarious. I laughed so hard I cried. The good news is our film is almost done. We just have to add music. After we turn it in tomorrow afternoon I can return to being a normal functioning human being.

Day 25

This was taken this morning during Acting for the Camera class. We were doing practice auditions for commercials. Thomas and I decided to act like we were getting prom pictures done as we waited out in the hall.

Day 24

Spent the whole day editing our film. The footage of Kyler's nephew disappeared so we had to reshoot it. That required us to bake a new cake and get the equipment from Stephanie. This photo was taken in Kyler's car on the way to the grocery store. He bought an "explorer" hat for another film.

Day 23

This cat was in the house where we shot our film. It jumped up on the counter and started chowing down on the bowl of peas. I've never seen a cat eat veggies before.

My sister is 32 today. Happy birthday sis!

Day 22

We shot a scene for our Campus Movie Fest film today in the balcony theatre. This is one of the girls in our group wearing the wig that our actor was wearing for the Bible Quiz scene. Pretty groovy.

Day 21

I decided to post a video instead of a picture. This is my first stop motion attempt.

Day 20

Today, George filmed us saying a few things about ourselves. He then played the footage on a TV and commented on what we were putting out there. Some people were the goofy sidekick type, and others were the jocks and ingenues.

Day 19

Today we had a camera quiz in my production class. It involved us getting a drawing of a shot and having to replicate it using a camera on a tripod (in three minutes). I was one of the first people to go and I didn't realize that we could put the camera in between the two subjects. Oh well. You learn by doing sometimes.

Day 18

Encountered a ladybug during lunch today. This is a picture of it chillin on Bryce's arm. I let it crawl on me, which is a big step considering my irrational phobia of the spotted beetles.

Day 15

I wore this glorious outfit to voice class today. We have to wear comfortable clothes to move around in. It was a gorgeous day. Here's another picture:
Jade and I saw the Thalian's play The Well of Horniness. It was pretty funny. Afterwards the Inglewood gang came over and we had a low key evening at our apartment.

Day 14

Another Thursday night at Walkers doing karaoke. It was pretty crowded, but we managed to take control at the end of the night. This picture is of Victoria and Bryce.

Day 13

After a night of dancing, all I wanted to do today was curl up in bed. I'm so sore. Despite my exhaustion, I still managed to have a productive day. I even cleaned the kitchen sink. It sparkles now.

Day 12

RAVE NIGHT at the LOFT! We danced the night away. Yes, I have class at 9 AM tomorrow.

Day 11

This is my mouth/throat. I had voice class today and we discussed the anatomy of creating sound. After I ate leftover chicken and dumplings, I felt a sharp pain in my throat. It's still lingering. I'm not sure if I should be alarmed...

Day 10

We made chicken and dumplings with Jade's new crock pot! They were deeelish. I can't wait to try more recipes with this thing.

Day 9

Went downtown with these fellas. Jowlers. Good stuff. The kid on the right is just yelling.

Day 8

Jade and I had several photoshoots in our living room. I'm stuck in the TV in this picture.

Day 7

First day of Spring 2010 semester. Took a nap and slept through my alarm, so I missed my second class (Media Research). Oh well. I'll make up for it.

A friend of mine lost a brother. This was his motto. R.I.P. Jeff.

Did not take a picture of the 5th. This will replace it. Me and Stephen playing with my mac's photobooth. Good times.

Day 4

Dahlie and I stopped to get gas on the way to the Buffalo airport. I took a picture of this because it tickles me how northerners say "pop" instead of "soda."

Day 3

I said goodbye to Graham last night. This is the view from the Chautauqua house's window. The snow wouldn't stop. It was beautiful, though.

Day 2

Graham was fake attacking me with an icicle he took from his porch. It was terrifying.

Day 1

This was taken after midnight on January 1st, 2010 next to the bell tower in Chautauqua, NY. I love my friends. I hope this tradition continues for a long time.
